Pod vape kits are a type of vape kit that utilise a plastic pod in place of a tank, which clicks into the device for a compact and discreet vaping option. There are two main types of pod kit, prefilled and refillable.
Prefilled pod kits are one of the most simple to use styles of e-cigarette which makes them ideal for new vapers making the transition from smoking to vaping. The pods for these devices come prefilled with e-liquid and once they are empty can simply be disposed of and replaced with a new pod, so there is no need for refilling or changing the coil. Prefilled pods are made specifically to fit with one type of device, so they fit perfectly into place, and are available in a variety of different flavour options and sometimes even in different nicotine strengths.
Refillable pod kits, as the name suggests, can be repeatedly refilled with your choice of compatible e-liquid, allowing you to use the flavour and nicotine strength of your choice. For pods with a fixed coil, the pod can be refilled multiple times until the coil starts to burn, at which point it will need to be replaced with a new pod. For pods with replaceable coils, you will only need to change the coil when it starts to burn out and can continue to use the same pod.

How do pod vape kits work?
The pod can be slotted into the device making it a little more discreet than tank devices. As the pods are made with plastic, these types of devices are ideal if you are a little accident prone as the pod cannot smash like a glass tank can.
Depending on the device, the pod will either come prefilled with e-liquid and will need to be disposed of once empty, or it can be refilled with e-liquid multiple times before being disposed of when the coil tastes burnt.
